Thought for the day,

Remember This One?

"Teach your children what we have taught our children, that the Earth is our mother. Whatever befalls the Earth befalls the sons of the Earth. If men spit upon the ground, they spit upon themselves. This we know - the Earth does not belong to man - man belongs to the Earth. This we know."

- Chief Seattle

2 . How generous you are, Earth, and how strong is your yearning for your children lost between that which they have attained and that which they could not obtain. We clamor and you smile; we flit but you stay! We extract your elements to make cannons and bombs, but out of our elements you create lilies and roses.

Thought for the day

"Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams".

American Author and Speaker

Thought for the day

"If you do not ask yourself what it is you know, you will go on listening to others and change will not come because you will not hear your own truth."

Thought for the day

Sent by Shikha Aggarwal

Use every letter you write, every conversation you have, every meeting you attend, to express your fundamental beliefs and dreams. Affirm to others the vision of the world you want. You are a free, immensely powerful source of life and goodness. Affirm it. Spread it. Radiate it. Think day and night about it and you will see a miracle happen: the greatness of your own life.

Thought for the day,

To keep the body in good health is a duty...
otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.

Thought for the day

BELIEVE WHERE OTHERS DOUBT
WORK WHERE OTHERS REFUSE
SAVE WHERE OTHERS WASTE
STAY WHERE OTHERS QUIT &
U WILL WIN WHERE OTHERS
LOOSE.

A student asked the Master during a meditation retreat,
"I am very discouraged.
What should I do?"
The Master replied, "Encourage others"

Thought for the day

Every Drop's a Dream
If each grain of sand were to say: One grain does not make a mountain, there would be no land.
If each drop of water were to say: One drop does not make an ocean, there would be no sea.
If each note of music were to say: Each note does not make a symphony, there would be no melody.
If each word were to say: One word does not make a library, there would be no book.
If each brick were to say: One brick does not make a wall,
there would be no house.
If each seed were to say: One seed does not make a field,
there would be no harvest.
If each of us were to say: One person does not make the difference,
there would never be love and peace on earth.
You and I do make the difference. Begin today and make the difference.

Think of this & lead ur life....
The Joys of a Simple Life
World's Richest [Stock's] Man - Warren Buffet There was a one hour interview on NBC with Warren Buffet, the second richest man who has donated $31 billion to charity.
Here are some very interesting aspects of his life:
1. He bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late!
2. He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers.
3. He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha , that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence surrounding it.
4. He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him.
5. He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world's largest private jet company.
6. His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year.
He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis. He has given his CEO's only two rules.
Rule number 1: do not lose any of your share holder's money. Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1.
7. He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time, after he gets home, is to make himself some pop corn and watch Television.
8. Bill Gates, the world's richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with Warren Buffet. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half hour. But when Gates met him, the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a devotee of Warren Buffet.
9. Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk. His advice to young people:
Stay away from credit cards and invest in yourself and, remember: A. Money doesn't create man but it is man who created money. B. Live your life as simple as you are. C. Don't do what others say, just listen to them, but do what you feel good. D. Don't go after brand name; just wear those things in which you feel comfortable. E. Don't waste your money on unnecessary things; rather spend on those who really are in need. F. It's your life; don't give others a chance to rule your life -

Be careful what you pretend to be because you are what you pretend to be." - Kurt Vonnegut

Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today. There might be a law against it by that time.

"The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

Kill the snake of doubt in your soul, crush the worms of fear in your heart and mountains will move out of your way. -Kate Seredy

I find it fascinating that most people plan their vacations with better care than they plan their lives. Perhaps that is because escape is easier than change." - Jim Rohs

IN GREAT ATTEMPTS IT IS GLORIOUS EVEN TO FAIL"

You cannot expect to achieve new goals or move beyond your present circumstances unless you change."- Les Brown

Nothing is more admirable than the fortitude with which millionaires tolerate the disadvantages of their wealth. -- Nero Wolfe"

Happiness is not found at the end of the road, it is experienced along the way. So take not for granted each moment of your life and you will find a reason to be happy each day. Don't worry so much about tomorrow that you forget to live today." - Author Unknown
